Description
The “MARCH TEF-MAG® Series” pumps are externally geared, rotary positive displacement pumps with magnetic drive.
They are designed with all wetted pump parts made of non-metallic materials and are specifically designed to handle highly corrosive chemicals according to ATEX 2014/34/EU regulations.
Gear pumps operate on the principle of positive displacement, producing virtually vibration-free forced flow at high differential pressures.
The pump bodies of the TEF-MAG® Series are constructed from robust solid materials and corrosion-resistant plastics such as PP, PVDF, PEEK, PVC, or PE. Even the wetted shafts are made from non-metallic engineering ceramics like SSiC or Al203, representing the best possible chemical resistance.
The gears are made from high-performance self-lubricating plastics, allowing the TEF-MAG® Series pumps to handle low-viscosity liquids seamlessly.
Power is transmitted from the driver to the pump through a contactless, magnetically locked connection using powerful NdFeB permanent magnets. As a result, the pump operates without any mechanical seals, ensuring the safe and leak-free pumping of corrosive, toxic, and explosive liquids.
Pumps for hazardous areas in Zone 1 and 2 can be provided in corrosion-resistant and conductive plastic.
